Mary didn’t say much like any mother she was afraid for her Son’s life. As far as the other passages these were (just like us) those involved trying to gain absolute proof. The miracles Jesus did were for His disciples as well though as they journeyed began to believe whole heartedly. Remember later on Jesus ask who they say He is? Most believed then He was The Son of God. Hope this helps.

I’m a little confused because James points out a lot of different things about faith,works,and The Lord. Can you give me Chapter and verses? James even calls Him “The Lord of Glory”

listen to their mother? I also think it’s possible her safety may have been at risk to share the truth, but it doesn’t seem that Mary or Joseph was told her to keep this miracle as a secret- aside from Jesus infancy and the angel telling Joseph when to move for Jesus safety.

I think this is a speculation only answer, the bible doesn’t seem to dive into this, but it’s been something that seems odd to me- not recounting and sharing that God chose you, of all females to be the mother of God’s only Son the savior of the world. It blows my mind. In the New Testament, Mary had Jesus. She ’pondered’ all these things- the things the angels said and I assume, includes everything from the angels announcement through birth and the visiting sheppards. Fast forward to the book of James. Jesus own brother admits to not believing Jesus was the Son of God. My curiosity is, why didn’t Mary tell this story to the family? I couldn’t imagine such a phenomenal miracle and not shout it from the rooftops, but at the very least, share within the family
